MRVL Technologies ("we", "us") develops mobile and web-based applications (each an "App" or "Platform"). This Privacy Policy explains what information our products may collect, how it is used, and your choices. Some features vary by product; where applicable, additional product-s
1. Information We Collect
Depending on the App or Platform features you use, we may collect or process:
Account & Profile Information
• Email address, password, and/or authentication credentials
• Profile details you provide (e.g., name, organization/university/community affiliation, user role such as member/admin)
User Content
• Content you create, upload, or submit (e.g., messages, posts, comments, reports, files)
• Photos, videos, and related metadata (e.g., captions) when media features are enabled
Usage Data (Analytics)
• App interaction data (e.g., screens viewed, feature usage, session duration)
• Device and app information (e.g., device type, OS version, app version, language/region)
• Identifiers used for analytics and fraud prevention (e.g., device identifiers as provided by the platform/SDK)
Diagnostics
• Crash reports, performance diagnostics, and error logs to improve reliability and fix issues
Optional Permissions
• Camera (to capture media if you choose)
• Photos/Media Library (to upload existing media if you choose)
• Microphone (to record audio/video if you choose)

2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
• Provide core functionality (account access, community features, messaging, uploads)
• Store and deliver user content (including photos/videos) and enable sharing where applicable
• Maintain safety, integrity, and moderation features (where provided)
• Improve the Apps (analytics, feature performance, debugging, crash resolution)
• Provide support and respond to user requests
3. Service Providers (How Data Is Processed)
We use trusted service providers to operate and improve our products. Depending on the product, this may include:
Google Firebase
• Firebase Authentication (account sign-in)
• Cloud Firestore / Realtime Database (app data and content such as messages)
• Firebase Storage (media uploads such as photos/videos)
• Firebase Analytics (usage analytics)
• Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting and diagnostics)
These providers process data on our behalf under their terms and are not permitted to use it for their own advertising for our products. Additional third-party providers may be used as our products expand and will be identified in product-specific privacy notices.
4. Data Sharing
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not share personal information with third parties for third-party advertising.
• We share data with service providers only as needed to operate app features (e.g., hosting, analytics, crash reporting, enquiry routing).
5. Data Storage & Retention
• App data and user content may be stored on secure cloud services to support functionality across devices and browsers.
• We retain data for as long as needed to provide the App and for legitimate purposes such as security, preventing abuse, legal compliance, and backups.
• If you delete content or request account deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete associated data, subject to retention required for legal/security reasons.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our web-based platforms may use cookies and similar technologies for session management, analytics, and user experience. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings; note that disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality. Analytics tools may also be used to understand how users interact with our web platforms.
7. Your Choices
• You may deny optional permissions (camera/photos/microphone). Some features may not function without them.
• You can typically update certain profile information within the App (where available).
• You may request account deletion or data access by contacting us (see Contact).
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No system is 100% secure.
9. Children’s Privacy
Our Apps are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Child Safety Standards
MRVL Technologies and its applications, including Campus Fellowship (com.mrvltechnologies.campus_fellowship), maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy towards Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).
The following are strictly prohibited on all MRVL Technologies platforms:
- Any content that sexually exploits or endangers minors
- Grooming, solicitation, or trafficking of minors
- Sharing, distributing, or requesting CSAE material in any form
Users found violating these standards will have their accounts permanently removed and the incident reported to relevant authorities and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable.

11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
